How To: Tightening Peach Mask

Ingredients:
1 ripe peach - peeled and pitted
1 egg white

Directions:
Cut the peach into chunks and throw them in your blender. Separate the egg and add only the egg white to the blender as well. Turn the blender on and let it do it’s thing until you have a smooth mixture of peach and egg white puree.

Application & Removal:
Gently pat mixture over face. Leave on for 30 minutes. Wipe most of the egg mixture off with some paper towels or a washcloth. Rinse your face with plenty of cool water. You can use this peach tightening facial mask about once a week to keep your skin firm and younger looking.

I use natural masks as well as store bought masks and they work all the same for me. If you are running low on your favorite mask and you have a little time take out your blender ladies! I find the longer I leave the mask on the tighter my skin tends to feel + this smells super sweet. yum!

Review: Stila All Over Glow (Pretty Pink)

Price:
$28.00USD + TAX

Packaging:
The products come in a cute decorated book like compact.
It is adorable with the flowers and the pink font :) It snaps itself closed with a concealed magnet for safe keeping. When you open it you see the light pink blusher than when pulling the loose ribbon of to the right you uncover a highlighter. On the top part of the blush that covers the product a mirror is in place for easy applying where ever you may be.

Blusher:
I love the blush. It is a fairly light pink. I love that it is matte! When applying onto the skin I use a bit at a time to build the product to the amount needed. The blusher does come out a bit sheer but like I said it is buildable and it gives a nice natural glow. There is no sparkle or shimmer in this product and I find it to be one of my favorites esp for the colder sort of days :) One bad thing about this product is that it comes off chalky onto my brush but works its way out when swept onto my skin. It blends well and holds color for a long while.

Highlighter:
This is deff. a shimmer product, makeup with shimmer! I'm not a big fan of shimmer products and if I use them it's always with a very very light hand. I don't want to put shimmer on oily skin!
I find that you shouldn't use a lot because if you go over board its hard to blend it out. The color is a bit chalky for my taste I don't really like this product I find that it does not apply out on my skin evenly. I don't see myself using this portion of the product in the future. (The photograph of the colors are actually hiding the brightness and sheen on the highlighter, I suggest seeing it in store.)

Recommend?
Depending on the person. Some people love a ton of shimmer for highlight! If so then go for it! Some people like the settle pink blushers, this product has this as well... I know I have seen this for a cheaper price now that it has been out for some time so I would say try it out. I landed up liking one of the two and I know I am happy to have it in my collection. The highlighter is a bit much for me. Read reviews always, watch YouTube videos on the product. It always helps me. Get more than one opinion and always make sure to go check out the product in person because you wouldn't want to go for something you hate or miss out on something that's fantastic for you.

Overall:
I find it works the job of a highlighting product, "all over glow" It does well to illuminate my cheekbones and add some natural soft color.

Review: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Site Says:

No chance to shine with Stay Matte Powder. Goes on smooth to even out skin tone. Offers a natural, matte finish. You won't go out without it!

Packaging:
It is a bit light in weight, I don't like that. Feels as if I dropped it it would shatter.
The cover lid is made of plastic like the base and it is not of great quality. I like the fact that it is simple,
and clear and the top to view the color. All the information needed as well is on the package front or back. no need to use google for this one girls.

Formulation:
The powder is amazing. It is packed fairly well. I get a lot of product in one swoop of the brush
enough to cover my face. On extra hot days I apply it under my foundation and again on top.
It is not at all messy which is fairly nice for a powder. Another great thing is that it does not make my foundation look thick looking as if its cake, eww. None of us want that right ladies!

Application:
When applying I use a powder brush or kabuki depending on the amount I want one my face. I have the transparent color so it links well with my own skin color looking natural and as if I don't have oily skin as well. It blocks the shine as it claims and I'm going to say it has perfect application as far as a matte powder is concerned.

Recommend?
Ive been looking for a great powder to mattify my skin for some time. As you all know my skin gets oily and  I have tried a lot of different things to keep it away and controlled. This product is cheap and does the job! I would deff. recommend this to a friend with similar skin as mine.

3 Shades Available:
Silky Beige, Sandstorm, Transparent.
I own Transparent being that the other tones were to dark and made my complexion look a bit off, so my review is based on the color owned :) It does come off a lot darker in the photograph above than it really is. You will have to go in your drugstore to view the color in a proper way.

Review: Hypershine Gloss

Site Says:
Hyper, glass-like shine infused with micro-mirror technology to reflect light. Smoothes lips on contact with a conditioning shine that lasts for hours. Create that natural lip stain of color that's sheer, subtle and beautiful!

Packaging:
The container is a tube like shape with a lip brush at the very tip top. It has a lid over it to keep
yucky sorts from getting in. It is made of plastic and it is a clear bottle easy for viewing the
right color to apply.

Application & Texture:
You twist the gloss from the bottom portion and product slides out right onto your brush. You control
how much comes out and a little goes a long way! I always get an even application. The only bad thing
to mention about the item is that it tends to get really sticky, some people hate that! I don't mind it, product in this formulation seem to last me a lot longer.

Moisturizing:
This gloss is fantastic to apply to dry lips. It locks in moisture and helps my lips feel not so dry.
For such a low price I think think this is a high quality feature.

Color:
Some are creamy like colors others have bits of reflex gold in color. Some are more sheer and some are
very pigmented! You can buy these online at eyeslipsface.com or where I placed my order eyeslipsface.se
I believe there are a ton of different sites as well for different countries :) I understand Target now carries elf products, I'm sure that makes it convenient for people who don't want to do the online order.

Runway: Reed Krakoff Spring/Summer 2011

I absolutely love the collection. For me it is hard to find lines I love because I'm so picky. I either hate it or love it! I like the simply design with the twist. Ive highlighted off to the right of the main photo what stood out to me. He paid extra attention to detail and maximized his use of fabric options. Genius, fabulous collection Reed!

Review: Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick

(Left - Right) Wink, Pink Sunset,Posy Pink, Sheer Naturale, Canela Nacar, Blonde Ambition

Price:
$6.50 - $12.00

Pigmentation:
Depending on the color and line you are picking from it varies.
The regular Ultra Color Rich Lipsticks apply evenly and pigmented as you can see from the photograph. Each swatch was only one swipe across. The two lighter ones are actually tinted plumper's. They are sheer yet buildable and do leave color upon the lips. I think Avon Lipstick's are very under rated!

Packaging:
I think the packaging is pretty sleek. They always keep it simple. They have a label at the very bottom with the color and brand name. The sticker is at most times the shade of the lip color. Inside they are embossed with the AVON Plate. They carry a good weight to them as well.

Texture & Application:
The texture for all lipsticks I have tried by Avon have been smooth and creamy. They apply very easily. With only a bit of product you can cover your lips. They last a few hours depending on what you are doing throughout the day. They have never gave me problems. I have never seen them bleed with or without liner. None of the above lipsticks are matte or hold sparkle, they are just a nice creamy color. They look gorgeous when you add a gloss over them, they don't seem to streak on the lips.

Extra Supplies Required?
These lipsticks are very moisturizing on my lips. Sometimes I throw a balm on underneath if the weather requires it but otherwise they are fine all on their own!

This review was based upon my experience of AVON Lipstick's. I choose only 6 colors to focus more on my favorite shades by the brand. I will also say if you plan on trying the lipstick I hope that you will check into the lip conditioner they have within the line, it is amazing :) Hope this was helpful!

Review: Sexy Hair Healthy Pumpkin Whipped Souffle

Price: $21.00

Website: SexyHair.com

Effects:
Well I tend to use this product when the weather is trying to defeat my everyday hair. Once in a while my hair will get very dry and seem a bit frizzy. I take only a little bit of the product and it works it's magic. My hair looks healthy right afterwards it provides nourishment to my hair just as it says it will. I notice if the light is in the right place my hair carries a nice shine but not over the top. I like that it is not an oily product being that I have oily hair if I use the wrong items.

Packaging:
It comes in a 125ml pot. (4fl. oz) It is a thick plastic and the lit pops open from the tip top. The colors are white, brown, and orange. Being that it is of the "pumpkin" source it's nice that it is a bit themed. I like the pot however a tube form would be nice as well. Directions and ingredients are listed on the back hand of the pot as well as contact/company information!

Texture & Application:
The souffle is a sort of paste that is not thick yet not light. It reminds me of the cream from the pumpkin pie during the holiday seasons. It applies very easily and the hair just soaks it up. It is very smooth and creamy. The color is a very light orange color almost peach in color really. It has a pearl like sheen over the mixture and is very very moisturizing!

Scent:
It smells of fall. It has a pumpkin smell to it, with a hint of spice. When you open the pot it is a bit stronger than the everyday product but when applied to the hair the smell is there just faintly. I don't enjoy products with a heavy smell. When I opened the product I was a bit worried but after trying it out I grew to love it. Keep in mind you only need a small part of it. I lightly swoop it with one finger and it covers all of my hair.

Review: No7 Beautifully Balanced Purifying Cleanser

Ever so fresh. Refresh your skin as you sweep away every last trace of make-up and cleanser. This purifying toner helps skin look and feel beautifully healthy and clean. Non-drying and pH balanced, it helps to leave combination complexions rebalanced, revitalized and shine free. Zinc and seaweed extract help control and balance excess oil while vitamins A and E moisturize where needed.

How to use:
Apply a small amount to a cotton pad and sweep over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Use quick upward strokes

I paid about 9.00 USD for this product at my local Target.
For the price You get a lot of product. 200ml. !! That's 6.6 US fl.oz

Ive heard a lot of mixed reviews on the product. Some people hate and and some love it! I am going to say I'm on the side of absolutely loving it! I love the product for the following reasons...

Packaging:
I'm a sucker for packaging. It's in a sleek easy to understand bottle. It is
a shade of light green that has a pearl like sheen to it. All the information you could possibly want to know is stated clearly and willingly on the bottle.

Texture & Application:
It is a gel like substance that has a pearl like finish as well. It does not hurt while applying & it smooths out upon my face fairly easily. I find it nice that it is a light sort of gel, it does not feel thick or heavy on the skin. It is not sticky or oily, it sinks into my skin like butter really. I have very oily skin so I have to watch out for the products I use, this maintains a matte face throughout my day and does not cause buildup makeup if I wear it over the product. After applying it leaves a cool refreshing sort of feeling on my face just as if I wet my face with cold water. Your skin just feels very clean and perfectly balanced.

Makeup & Dirt Removal:
oki so a lot of people learned to hate the product at just this point.
Ive never used it just on it's own. As you all know I'm a skincare junkie and I don't just use 1 product at night to remove the layer of makeup. I wash my face first than apply product and creams :) After washing my face I use the Cleanser and wiped away with a cotton ball. It removed any other build up left on my face. I didn't see any sort of problem with it. It did not cause irritation or breakouts on my skin and it did not burn in any sort of way.

I plan on going to buy a few more backup bottles. I know that this gets sold out easily at the stores around me so no reason to be  without it when it's gone. hope this was helpful.

I'm always excited each year to see what Oscar de la Renta has put together. He utilizes his ability to pair up beautiful fabrics of all textures and colors on the cool side as well as deep vibrant tones. His clothing is a reflection of talent and beauty!
