How To: Lettuce Mask

Facts:For normal skin type ladies, here is some knowledge to share with you all from my readings. Lettuce leaves are best home remedies for normal skin. All lettuce is a good source of chlorophyll and rich in vitamin K. Iceberg lettuce provides a good source of choline. Romaine lettuce is the most nutrient-dense of all the lettuce varieties and is an excellent source of vitamins A, B1 and C, folic acid, manganese and chromium.  Olive oil is a fruit oil obtained from the olive and with its high content of antioxidative substances. It's also suitable to apply it into homemade natural facial mask at home.

Ingredients:
lettuce leaves
olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
mineral water
warm milk

Application:
Dip two large lettuce leaves in olive oil and sprinkle on them a few drops of lemon juice. Place them on both sides of your face, and then cover them with a paper towel dipped in mineral water. Wipe your face with a cotton ball soaked in warm milk, then rinse with warm water.

Review: Hard Candy Crush Baked Blush - Living Doll

"We  ♥ our animal friends, We don't test on them"
^^Love that about Hard Candy :)

Packaging:
Very cute. It is very unique. The top is clear and has a mirror as a border. I took a lot of pictures so you can see the way the design is set. It drops down to the baked product and has a milk white base. On the back it gives information on the product and it explains what it is that is in the product mixture itself.

Application - Formulation:
I love this blusher because it is just the right amount of pink to add a doll like look to your makeup but only faintly. It is a buildable formulation which allows you to be in control in the amount of product being added to your face and the desired look aimed for. It reminds me of cheeks that come in from a winter cold like a warm kiss to a cold cheek. Perfect flush! The texture is silky and blends well into the skin. I didn't have any sort of fall out with the product when applied with my 150.

Overall:
I plan to buy a back up. I know a lot of product is baked within but you never know when and if it will get all used up.
I love pink products and to be without it once I have had it is just not going to happen. I enjoy the sheen from the blush it
is something different than my others that I usually lean towards, matte. Very nice, I would definitely recommend it. I plan to buy up the other blushes that the Hard Candy line carries! :)

What Hard Candy products would you recommend I try out?

Review: Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer - Tropics

"We  ♥ our animal friends, We don't test on them"
^^ love that about Hard Candy ;)

Packaging:
Very cute. It is very unique. The top is clear and has a mirror as a border.
I took a lot of pictures so you can see the way the design is set. It drops
down to the baked product and has a milk white base. On the back it gives
information on the product and it explains what it is that is in the product
mixture itself.

Application - Formulation:
I know all the products are different when you go to buy them. Some have more lines of color running through them than others. I preferred a solid color with these items because I didn't know how they would turn out being I don't enjoy to often sparkle in my makeup. I love that it applies smooth to the skin. The mixture feels like silk. The product itself is bronze in color and has a bit of gold reflex in it that makes it look like perhaps there is a bit of shimmer on top of the bronze sheen. It applies light when not wet to the skin and is very buildable. I prefer only a little as I do all of my colors no matter where it is on the face they may be.

MSF:
I thought I should compare since I heard others compare it so it raises question. Baked Bronzer is less pigmented than an MSF, but the color is buildable. I prefer the So Baked Bronzer for my fair skin, I do love my MSF's! With one swoop of the  brush you can easily get a lot of product with an MSF. Tropics is
more of a little at a time sort.

Overall:
I would definitely recommend this product to friends. I own a few blushers and bronzers from Hard Candy
and I found that I love them. I think this product would be great for any skin tone I have very fair skin so it
works well for a bit of color or a topped contour. I even tried this product as a shadow and it looked great!

Review: Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer - Tiki

"We  ♥ our animal friends, We don't test on them"

^^ love that about Hard Candy ;)

Packaging:
Very cute. It is very unique. The top is clear and has a mirror as a border. I took a lot of pictures so you can see the way the design is set. It drops down to the baked product and has a milk white base. On the back it gives information on the product and it explains what it is that is in the product mixture itself.

Application:
I apply this with a flat top brush for best application pickup. I find that it is a buildable product which is nice but only a little is needed for my desired look. I swipe it above my cheek bones as a highlight rather than a bronzer and down my nose sometimes. It gives pigmented color but sheer is easy to achieve as well. A nice cool highlight but warm enough to add something to the face. It blends into the skin nicely and does not have a terrible amount of fallout. It's packed well into the packaging and leaves the skin with a nice sheen almost a dewey sort of look rather than sparkle. I always get noticed when I have it on people always compliment my skin which is great to hear.

Tiki is
more of a little at a time sort.

Overall:
It's a great product for the cheap price $9.00USD is what I think I paid. It can be used wet or dry, I prefer it dry for a faint color. I've also used it on the eyes as a simple eyeshadow or on the brow bone.
Works well for any sort of job.

Victoria's Secret Holiday 2010

Can you believe it the holiday's are here! This years issue is packed with a gorgeous collection of colors, textures & styles! Every flip of the page was another love! I think they did well with the cover this year. Makeup & hair is flawless, eye catching.

I'm not so fond of animal print but the design of this garment stood out to me. It is very feminine and looks very supportive.

WOW. Look at the detail in this one! Gorgeous minds made this piece. The design and detail definitely hold top spot ,wow factor. I feel like I'm always looking for the right sort of bra for what I am wearing so there is no such thing as to many under garments! Remember that ladies! it's not a want but a need! hehe

GORGEOUS! It looks just like a mini corset. Little things done to the most simple piece are always appreciated in my books.

I'm in love with this coat. The Cobalt Blue is gorgeous to the eye and the style is classic perfect for work or a night out during cold nights.

They had a few new products featured. I like the lineup of shades shown and the packaging is very cute. I think I might have to take a nosy into VS soon for sure!

Loving the royal purple and the way of the design. very cute.

Who doesn't love free makeup?! Yes Please!

I always get new pj's especially for the holiday's! I was excited with the items shown but then I just all of a sudden had the urge to splurge on a million pair and sit upon the very tip top of them as she is! Good times!

How To: Raspberry Facial Mask

Facts:
Raspberries are a very rich source of natural vitamin C and organic acids. Raspberries are beneficial for oily skin. Indulge yourself with this awesome raspberry mask ladies! A sheer delight for your skin. The natural acids from fresh, organic raspberries together with the goodness of pure honey and cream refresh and invigorate your skin to give a beautiful, healthy glow. The Raspberry mask will make your skin soft and normalized. A natural face mask made up of  raspberries helps protect against the suns rays. Vitamin C's antioxidant powers help fade age spots and discoloration. It also rounds out the skin to fill in minor wrinkles. Enjoy!!

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons honey, preferably organic
2 table spoons oat flour
1/2 cup raspberries, preferably organic

OR

1 cup raspberries
1/2 cup yogurt

Mixture & Application:
Except for oat flour, mix all of the ingredients except oat flour and pour it into a bowl. Then add oat flour to thicken the paste and get the desired consistency. Apply to a clean face, avoiding the undereye area immediately after mixing, allow the mask to sit for 30 minutes, and rinse with warm water followed by a splash of cool water.

There are plenty of other types of ways to make the mixture for this sort of kind (raspberries) according to what you are trying to treat, this is just the Ingredient line up I go by because I have oily skin. It is great for  discoloration as well :)

How To: Caramel Apples

Ingredients:

6 apples
1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped 2 tablespoons milk

I made some of my very own today for my sister so I thought I'd share how to, maybe you have someone special you can make them for :) You can wrap them with clear gift wrap and add a festive bow for season, skies the limit! Enjoy!

Directions:

Remove the stem from each apple and press a craft stick into the top. Butter a baking sheet. Place caramels and milk in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave 2 minutes, stirring once. Allow to cool briefly. Roll each apple quickly in caramel sauce until well coated. Place on prepared sheet to set. You can even sprinkle on some crushed nuts if you wanted or maybe melt some milk chocolate and drizzle onto your apples :) Get creative!
