How To: Cranberry Mask

Cranberries aren't just for Thanksgiving, they can be used all year round for a relaxing facial. They can be found easily at almost any food market!! This facial treatment can be expensive at trendy spas, but you can make your own cranberry facial mask at home for just a fraction of the cost. The enzymes in cranberries act as exfoliants and will leave your skin healthy and silky smooth.

I use this when the season starts to get cold and my skin starts to get dry! At night I find it to work best for me, I like to apply firming cream at night right after my mask of choice and this helps my face feel moisture packed and amazingly smooth. It also is an excellent exfoliant for my dry skin. I've tried this out on the weekends early morning and I notice the glow it gives my skin and I just love it. I hope you all enjoy this delightful mask!

Ingredients:
6 Tablespoons Fresh Cranberries
1 yogurt 2% or whole yogurt
1/3 Cup Water
(optional)  pinch of sugar, 1/2 grated apple

Mixture/ Application:
Boil the cranberries with the water for 10 minutes. Mash them up and let them cool. In the meantime, grate the apple (if using) and mix with the cooled cranberries & sugar & yogurt. When mixture is done apply for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water and follow with your moisturizer. Enjoy!
