Look what I got over the weekend. I have seen a lot of reviews on these lipsticks. I was iffy on trying them only because the ribbon does not thrill me nor does the design. I love a more simple sort of packaging sleek and durable. I couldn't pass these up however because they were so incredibly cheep on a sale that if I didn't like them much I could get rid of them and if I did depotting would not be so hard. I will be doing a review on them within the next couple weeks as there is 11 and time will be needed to give my honest full opinion.

Have you tried these? Thoughts please :)

 I purchased this item about a week ago and I've been meaning to post for some time. I tweeted about it and a few of you asked for a blog post! Well... here it is :) I bought the dress for an afternoon outing. It is very form fitting and is a bit short. It is well above my knees. What new things have you got lately? What styles are you throwing together?

Maybe a FOTD will be coming up tomorrow with the products?!

HAUL: Color Inspiration

As you all know if you follow my twitter @RenayShanel I got a package yesterday and the previous day filled with Color inspiration! You see I keep a journal filled with swatches, lists of cosmetics or beauty products I want to try. I take clippings from my magazines of fashion or color of cosmetics or any other thing and place them in there for reflection. I find it beneficial to go back and get inspired by well myself and what catches my eye in everyday life.



I love pink! I had to get the pink pens! I'm really picky when it comes to pens. They have to have a fine line no goopy ink or thick lines for me please. They also have to catch my eye in the way of presentation & come on! They are pink need I say more?! I love them by the way ;)





I often doodle along the edges and add notes so what better way then with the coolest markers on all the planet! They each carry their own unique scent. When I was in grade school I had these in my class room. During the time we would color our Picasso's I would sit there and smell them because they smelt SO good! When I saw these online it made me so excited and I had to get them! I ordered 2 boxes! I love them I know I'm going to use these a lot in my journal! Plus my pages will smell so good!



I believe the pencils will work well for drawings I do of fashion pieces I create or maybe just a fill in of a spread.

I'll be doing a review of all products in about a month or so when I get the chance to use them for a full review. I have been wanting to try the soaps for some time now and never took the time to order them. I placed my order on the 9th of August & got them today on the 12th. I guess compared to a lot of other company's the package arrived fairly quick.

When I opened the box, it smelled something like heaven! Each soap is packaged in a small bag with the label of what the sort of it is. I got one with a takeout box & the box has the sticker as well on the bottom.

I love the detail and colors of the soaps. They are larger then I expected and i'm loving them so far just from scent while unwrapping them. Almost tempted for a bite or two! hehe In my package there were two samples included as you can see from the photographs so nice :)

Haul: Fashion & Beauty

I ran into a few stores today after work at the mall & I must say I am very proud of myself today I didn't go crazy. I got my Starbucks of course and just the following two items.



I got this tunic for $24.99USD I think a white t is always a great buy. I don't think you can have too many. They can be casual or you can quickly dress them up with a blazer for work or some fashionable necklaces for a night out. I like this one a lot the material is fairly thin and the pocket is a nice touch. It also is a bit wider towards the bottom which is different apart from anything I own currently. It's longer then the typical shirt and I tend to enjoy the kind of style this holds. I got it in a medium I though it would be nice to wear it a bit bigger rather then form fitting looks which seems to be my daily.



The Nail Varnish's caught my eye straight away! The smooth cream colors are very unique. You always see the brights, lights , and darks... but these are somewhere in between. Creamy looking color they hold and the formulation of these is of good quality. I tried the lilac cream one already. I like the bottle of the varnish, very simple. Ill be posting NOTD's with all colors. One thing I wish they had were names guess ill have to make my own :) I got them for a small price so it was a real steal for these. $19.99USD

P.S I think this is my 1st haul i've ever posted. I like to see what others buy helps me with my own shopping. Do you guys like these kind of posts or are they a bore... let me know :)

Ms. Makeup Beauty Book - Big Night Out

So I recently got this beauty book in the mail. I used it a few times and I can say I am pleased with it. I love the packaging of the book. I took several pictures of it inside and out. The mirror is surrounded my a disco ball with many colors which was very nice. It catches the eye on the cover with vibrant colors used and personal looking makeup on the girl photographed. On the back it gives a how to, I think this would be great for beginners to m makeup.

I must also say I like the closure on the book it has 4 little Circle magnets at each corner that make it close firmly for no mess and protected product.

Eye Shadows: 
I used some of the calm colors such as the purple & pink on my own lids. They come off a bit chalky if you grab too much as you can see from the picture. They are of great pigmentation though. & a definite + is they blend well. They lasted the 8hours I needed them to without touch ups. However I wouldn't wear them without a good primer & base.

Lip Gloss: 
The lip gloss wore off within an hour...
It is not to sticky it has a smooth application and it leaves a nice tint over my lip color. I wouldn't suggest it for an all day wear rather just a quick fix kind of outing.

Blushers: 
I like both blushers that come in the book however I fancy the pink one more then the peachy one because it tends to look more natural on my skin. There is a bit of work needed to blend the colors in but after if applied correctly they look rather nice.

Brush Set: 
I'm not to keen on the brushes included as I am never with products that come with such. But... I must say the bristles on the brushes are rather soft. I like the pink detail on them. They look nice in the beauty book.
