Hard Candy So Baked Blush - Living Doll
MAC MSF - Refined
NARS Eyeshadow - Party Monster
R&R - Tempting
MAC Eyeshadow - Claire De Lune

My favorites are mostly colors on the lighter side however as far as eyeshadow i'm still crazy over purple :) Please remember this is a favorites post not a products of the month post. I didn't include my skincare or foundations I tried to focus on the products that bring the color to the face rather then the products that are the base of my face. I think with the sunshine and warmer weather a nice natural face is best. Most of these products have a review somewhere on my blog if you are more curious as to why I love them so much.

I find these posts interesting when I see them because I get an insight into what others are wearing & loving. This is my second favorites post and i'm wondering if you all like them or not? I love them! I find out about products I have never heard of or products that Ive seen and wanted to try but was wondering of the quality or performance of them. I was thinking of starting a favorites: Skincare (Month) Would you be interested in reading that? I am crazy of skincare and I wish that I saw more posts like that. Maybe ill give it a go and see what happens ey? :)

I hope that you are all having a lovely holiday weekend and you have something exciting lined up. Whether it's a gathering, vacation or just relaxing at home! May it be wonderful! Speak soon!

Review: Rimmel Stay Matte Powder

Site Says:

No chance to shine with Stay Matte Powder. Goes on smooth to even out skin tone. Offers a natural, matte finish. You won't go out without it!

Packaging:
It is a bit light in weight, I don't like that. Feels as if I dropped it it would shatter.
The cover lid is made of plastic like the base and it is not of great quality. I like the fact that it is simple,
and clear and the top to view the color. All the information needed as well is on the package front or back. no need to use google for this one girls.

Formulation:
The powder is amazing. It is packed fairly well. I get a lot of product in one swoop of the brush
enough to cover my face. On extra hot days I apply it under my foundation and again on top.
It is not at all messy which is fairly nice for a powder. Another great thing is that it does not make my foundation look thick looking as if its cake, eww. None of us want that right ladies!

Application:
When applying I use a powder brush or kabuki depending on the amount I want one my face. I have the transparent color so it links well with my own skin color looking natural and as if I don't have oily skin as well. It blocks the shine as it claims and I'm going to say it has perfect application as far as a matte powder is concerned.

Recommend?
Ive been looking for a great powder to mattify my skin for some time. As you all know my skin gets oily and  I have tried a lot of different things to keep it away and controlled. This product is cheap and does the job! I would deff. recommend this to a friend with similar skin as mine.

3 Shades Available:
Silky Beige, Sandstorm, Transparent.
I own Transparent being that the other tones were to dark and made my complexion look a bit off, so my review is based on the color owned :) It does come off a lot darker in the photograph above than it really is. You will have to go in your drugstore to view the color in a proper way.

My Thoughts...

Packaging:
The packaging is gorgeous! It is a great shade of purple royal like really. I guess the crown that sits on the tip top of the lid suits it well. I like the packaging and that the color is told on the bottom of the lipstick however I don't like that it is a bit light in weight. I wish it were a bit heavier in hand to feel of better quality!

Scent:
It does hold a light scent. It reminds me of the smell you get when sniffing a fresh bouquet of flowers. I don't mind it because it's not over baring at all.

Texture:
It is smooth on the lips. Creamy texture! It is nice in the way of not having to apply a balm on my lips with the color.

Application:
Speaking for this shade it applied well on my lips. It is pigmented enough to cover my berry color lips so in my book that's a +! I love it and the shade is perfect for me for the everyday. It stays on my lips according to what i'm doing eating or drinking of coarse takes a bit off but for the most part I get a few hours out of it! very nice. It has no sparkle in it yet it is not matte. I would say a creamy sheen is what it gives. I like that it has a great pimentation, it's not sheer so I don't use so much product when I apply it, Love it!
