Broken makeup compacts may shatter your patience, but you can doctor the most daunting cracks with a little know how.
Using an eyedropper, trickle enough rubbing alcohol onto the broken makeup to form paste, then drag the back of a spoon over it to reshape. Leave it overnight - the alcohol will evaporate, returning the makeup to its original form!

i did this but for some reason it was back to cracking =(
ReplyDeleteReally ?!
ReplyDeletePerhaps You did not pack it good enough? Maybe the alcohol was not enough to travel within the powder? I tried it last night just to make sure I was not posting something silly... It worked for me but I have not had it thrown in my makeup bag or somewhere else rather.... hmm
I'll have to post an update.
Excellent tip!
ReplyDeleteAww, wish I had some rubbing alcohol handy. I cracked one of my MAC shadows while depotting. It was so sad!
